Background

Currently I serve as Deputy Section Commander for the San Antonio Section and as the Senior Commander for Outpost 68 at Windsor Park Assembly of God in San Antonio.

 

My original guidance and training for Rangers came through Scouting I am an Eagle Scout and served many leadership positions in Scouting.    About a year after being saved and Baptized the Lord started working on me for service to teach young boys about him and leadership.  I started working in Rangers roughly 10 years ago in an unchartered program learning to use parts of the “old” program in a van outreach ministry.  We then converted to Urban Rangers.  All of the commanders read everything we could get our hands on and adapting it to a useful level for our boys.  As the new program was introduced we decided to Charter some of our boys and therefore our Outpost.  Since chartering I have:

Been to two Regional conferences for training

Been to NTC in 2004

Been to Sarge Training Academy

Working on my LMA

           

Current Royal Ranger Projects

Support the Sectional Commander

Our Outpost is working on a Color Guard

Increasing training in the San Antonio Section

Increasing the number of chartered Outposts in the section.

 

Personal Information

I am married and have a son and two daughters.  I love the outdoors and activities.  Currently I am a home improvement contractor working for myself.  My hobbies are many in fact I have been accused of collecting hobbies.  I dabble in Scroll sawing, wood work, photography, camping, hiking, canoeing, and reading.  At church I do what ever is needed and whatever it takes to minister to people for Jesus.
